82 children of students of JGU and Mainz University of Applied Sciences as well as of employees of MPI, IMB and Studierendenwerk Mainz can be taken care of in the all-day day care center "Campulino" run by Studierendenwerk Mainz. Children of JGU employees cannot attend the Campulino day care center.
At the day care center Campulino, places are available for children from a few months old. The families should be registered in Mainz with their primary residence. The places are allocated centrally by an allocation committee, which is responsible for the day care centers of the Studierendenwerk. Unfortunately, the Studierendenwerk cannot accommodate children from the surrounding municipalities or from Hesse anymore.
Registration for the crèche and kindergarten is done through the Studierendenwerk Mainz.You can submit the application by e-Mail. In addition to the application form, the Studierendenwerk also needs your current certificate of enrollment as well as a proof of your previous course of study (students of the universities) or the employer's certificate completed by your human resources department (employees of the MPI, IMB, Studierendenwerk). In order for you application to be considered, you must visit the day care center before the allocation meeting takes place.
